SmartAsset OAT provides an easy-to-use integration with Salesforce, allowing you to automatically add leads without the hassle of manual entry. Follow the steps below to set up your Salesforce integration.
Step 1: Access the CRM Settings
- Navigate to CRM Settings.
- Click Connect to CRM
- Select Salesforce. Click Authorize.
Step 2: Connect Salesforce
- You will be prompted to log in to your Salesforce account.
- Enter your Salesforce credentials and click Allow to give OAT permission to connect.
Step 3: Configure Your Salesforce Settings
- Once connected, click Configure Salesforce
- Here, you can set up how leads are added to Salesforce:
- Choose whether to insert leads as a Lead, Account, or Contact.
- By default, standard contact information (like name, email, phone) is automatically added.
- Map SmartAsset survey data to custom fields in Salesforce:

Step 4: Assign Your Salesforce Configuration to SmartAsset Leads
- Go to the Lead Sources page.
- In the third column, CRM Configuration, and select the Salesforce Configuration you just created.
- Click Save SmartAsset Settings.
