In this section of our user guide, we will clarify the differences between Live Connection and Fast Call.
Live Connection
- Live Connection is a feature where the SA concierge calls a potential investor. If the investor wants to talk to an advisor, the concierge connects them to you right away for a live chat.
- Tagging and Campaign Status:
- Each lead that is connected via Live Connection is automatically tagged as 'live connected' in OAT.
- When a lead is live connected, OAT doesn't assign a campaign or trigger Fast Call. This gives you flexibility in tailoring your follow-up strategy based on the initial interaction.
Fast Call
- Fast Call uses the local number you chose in OAT. When a new lead comes in, OAT calls your forwarding number with the lead's details. You'll see the OAT number calling you. Press 1 to connect with the lead.
- This is the same number that leads see when you call or text them via OAT.
Campaign Management:
- Leads connected through Fast Call are automatically assigned to a campaign in OAT. The campaign continues until the lead responds via call, text, or email.
- If you connect with a lead and wish to stop their campaign, you must manually intervene. This requires active management of the campaign based on the lead's engagement.
Summary
While both Live Connection and Fast Call are designed to improve communication between advisors and potential investors, they serve different purposes. Live Connection, a service through SmartAsset, connects investors directly to advisors for live calls. It offers personal interaction and flexible campaign management. On the other hand, Fast Call and Campaign are features of OAT. Fast Call allows advisors to quickly call a lead as soon as it is received. Campaign sends a series of emails and texts, with call reminders on the Next Call screen, and stops once the lead responds. Fast Call requires manual campaign management based on lead responses.
